Challenge
Knowledge about ransomware is scattered, often behind paywalls or shaped by vendor interests. Defenders lack an open, trustworthy place to share analysis and get better together.
Approach
We built Ransom-ISAC as a community-driven platform: peer-reviewed threat intelligence, technical analysis and educational resources — openly shared and vendor-neutral.
Solution
A lean platform built on Next.js with Payload CMS as the community's home: in-depth intelligence reports and technical breakdowns, openly shared with the community. The research team publishes straight from the CMS, no middleman needed.
Around the content sit the programs that turn readers into a community: L.O.C.K. S.T.A.R., which recognizes standout research contributions, partner onboarding for security organizations, and early access via a waitlist.
Outcome
The platform is live and publishing peer-reviewed analyses at a steady pace — from leak analyses and malware reports to advisories. A growing partner network carries the vendor-neutral front against ransomware, and the first virtual Threat Summit brings the community together live.
