Challenge
Veloblitz aimed to create a website that mirrors the quick and efficient nature of their services. They needed a platform that would not only be fast and responsive but also reflect their strong and assertive brand identity. A critical requirement was the development of a custom order tool to streamline the process of arranging pickups and drop-offs for their customers.
Approach
We built the site for speed end to end: lean pages, fast load times and clear navigation, so the online experience keeps the promise the couriers make on the street. Visually, the website carries Veloblitz's loud, confident identity — yellow, black, sharp edges.
For the order tool, the user journey came first: anyone sending a parcel should get from address to price to confirmed order in a few steps — no phone call, no form maze. And to avoid double data entry, we designed the tool for direct integration with the courier dispatch system from day one.
Solution
The result is a fast, bilingual website on Craft CMS whose content — services, stories, FAQ — the Veloblitz team manages themselves. The site puts the brand on screen unfiltered: plenty of yellow, bold typography and the wink-and-a-smile details Veloblitz is known for.
At its heart sits the custom price calculator and ordering flow: enter pickup and drop-off addresses, choose size and time window, and the estimated price appears instantly. Four clear steps then take customers through pickup, delivery, payment and confirmation — with an optional customer login. Every order flows straight into the courier dispatch system.
Outcome
Veloblitz now takes orders where its customers are: online, with a transparent price from the first click. The direct dispatch integration spares the team double data entry — jobs reach the couriers on the street without detours.
At the same time, the cooperative has a web presence as confident as its bikes in Zurich's streetscape — one the team evolves themselves thanks to Craft CMS.
